Ann Barret Deshazo

Ann Barret DeShazo, 77, of Woodbridge, VA joined her family in Heaven on October 5, 2026. She was the mother of the late Michael Barret; daughter of the late Oscar N. Huff and Fannie Williams Huff and sister of the late Doris Huff Thompson and Katie Huff Snead. She is survived by her sisters, Janet Hamby (Hugh) of Boydton, Mildred Snowa and Debra Sitler (Ralph)all of Glen Allen; her brother Roy Huff of Powhatan; brother-in-law Edward Thompson of Kenbridge; nieces, nephews and extended family. Ann grew up in Kenbridge and graduated from Central High School. She worked many years as a Stenographic Court Reporter at various northern Virginia Courts.

She enjoyed her pets, the beach, country music, reading, and in earlier years, camping and using her waverunner at the lakes.

She was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Kenbridge.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, West Street, Kenbridge, Virginia 23944.
