Apollo Chris Merkle

Apollo Chris Merkle, 1, of Alberta, VA joined the Angels in Heaven on June 10, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Ashlee Merkle; his paternal grandparents, Ryan and Christina Merkle; maternal grandfather, Barry Lambert; paternal great-grandparents, Dale Cooper (Maria), Teresa Gaskell (Bob), Ellen Sheff (Shae), and Scott Merkle (Stella); aunts, Adeshi Taylor, Shannon Pugh, Serenity Merkle and Amber Lucy; uncle, Tristain Merkle; numerous great uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and best friend Tank Tank who could always make him smile. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 110 E. Fifth Avenue, Kenbridge, VA from 1PM until start of services at 2PM.
