Asa Linwood “Lenny” Armistead, Jr.,55, of Nottoway, Virginia entered eternal rest on January 30, 2026. He was the son of the late Asa Linwood Armistead, Sr. and Annette Fletcher Armistead, brother of the late Wanda Foster, and son-in-law of the late Catherine Webb.
He is survived by his significant other of 30 years, Paula McComb, his daughters, Brittany Annette Madison (Matthew) and Amy Driggs (Ernest Jr.); his son, Gary Foster, Jr. ( Susan), his grandchildren, Gideon Madison, Alex Driggs, Jasmyne Johnston, Jason Driggs, and Alana Driggs.
His siblings, Chad Hatch, Stacey Owen, Jason Armistead (Tracie), Joe Armistead, (Connie), brother-in-law, Billy Foster (Stephanie) , numerous nieces, nephews, bonus grandkids, devoted friends, Roy Malone, and Ryan Merkle, and many other friends.
He worked in the past for Gap Services, Kenbridge Construction Company and most recently for Crestview Memorial Park in South Hill.
“Lenny” enjoyed fishing, watching nascar, football and movies on TV, board games, being outside, playing video games, cooking on the grill and working on cars.
He will always be remembered for his incredible laugh, his sense of humor and the love he had for all those around him.
He was always willing to lend a hand and always wanted those around him happy.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 3 to 5PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge and again on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 9 to 10AM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. Graveside funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Crestview Memorial Park, LaCrosse, Virginia.
