Billy Lee Foster, Sr.

Billy Lee Foster, Sr., 77, of Kenbridge, VA joined his family and the Lord in Heaven on January 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Turner Foster; his parents, Willie Lee Foster and Bonnie Marie Jackson Foster. He is survived by his children Billy L. Foster, Jr. (Stephanie) of Blackstone, Ann Rennard (John) of Kenbridge, Tammy Bowen (Dennis Tatum) of Crewe, Joseph L. Foster, Sr. (April) of Holden Beach, NC, and Ernest Foster (Becky Bourne) of Kenbridge; 13 grandchildren, Michael Bowen, Jr. (Becca Graham), Billy L. Foster, III,Amy M. Mason (TJ), John B. Rennard, III (Savanna), Lucy M. Rennard (DáRon), Joseph L. “Joey” Foster, Jr., Christopher D. Foster, Adam Walker, Hannah Liles, Samuel K. Foster, Joseph T. Foster, Timothy D. Foster, Brady K. Foster, Evan R. Foster and Mihayla L. Bourne; 13 great-grandchildren; his sister, Diane Barton (Gary) of Green Bay, VA and special friends, Pastor Anthony Sandy and his family. Billy grew up in Summersville, West Virginia. He retired from Tyson Foods after 26 years as a truck driver. He also was a retired minister of The Church of God. He was a devoted member of The Church of God in Kenbridge where he taught Sunday School for many years. He will always be remembered for the love he had for God and for his family. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge, where funeral services will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2PM.
