Brenda Jackson Griffin, 69, of Blackstone, Va and formerly of Victoria, Va. joined her family in heaven on May 16th, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie W. Jackson and Thelma Irby Jackson and wife of the late Myles A. Griffin, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Myles A. "Bo" Griffin, Jr. (Tiffany) of Victoria; 3 granddaughters, Hailey Cichorz, Emma Griffin and Addison Griffin; her brother, Calvin Jackson (Brenda Boger); special sister-in-law, Hilda S. Jackson, of Kenbridge, Va devoted niece and neighbor, Arlene Parrish of Blackstone; nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Brenda grew up in Victoria, Virginia. She attended Central High School and worked over 20 years at Food Lion in the Deli Department. Most recently, she worked at Nottoway River Country Club as a pro shop attendant, a job she thoroughly enjoyed.

Brenda always looked forward to her lunch dates with friends, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

She was a member of the Kenbridge Christian Church and former member of VFW Post 9954 Ladies Auxillary.

Brenda will always be remembered for her love of others, her way of making you feel welcomed and her nice smile.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May the 20th, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria, Virginia.
