Brooklynn Michelle Porter-Brooks

Brooklynn Michelle “Brookie” Porter-Brooks, 13, of Crewe, Virginia and formerly of Charlotte County, Virginia went to dance with the Angels on May 10, 2026. She was the sister of the late Larry Devon Brooks, Jr and Cameron Roberts. Granddaughter of the late Becky Baron, Mildred Watts and Larry Brooks. She was also cousin of the late Jaden Pinto.

She is survived by her mother, Brandy Booker (James Booker); her father, Alston Porter, II and stepfather Larry Brooks; her sister, Breanna Porter; her brothers, Nathan Porter and Phoenix Porter; step-sister, Mia Booker; her maternal grandparents, Sandra Long (Jeff Nunn) and Eugene Banton (Tammy); step-grandfather, Benny Dalton, paternal grandfather, Alston D. Porter; devoted aunts, Mary Green, Sherry Green and Christy White; devoted uncles, Robert Green and Tramaine Wilson; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Brooklyn grew up in Charlotte County, Va and attended Charlotte County Public School and Lunenburg County Public School. She was currently enrolled as a six grader at Nottoway Intermediate School. She enjoyed Singing, Dancing and Drawing.

She will always be remembered for her bright eyes, her long red hair, her beautiful smile and her kind personality.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 6 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge. Funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene, 1404 Sixth Street,Victoria, Va. 23974. With interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
