Catherine Marie Ver Voort

Catherine (Katie) VerVoort joined her beloved husband Lawrence A. VerVoort in death on January 26, 2026. After 79 years of life, she leaves behind daughters Beulah Cody Beulah’s children Morgan Caruso, Jeffery Cody Jr, Brigit Green, and Kira Green and Amanda Lewis, Amanda’s children Dakota Bobbitt, Calista Green Figaro and Skylar Lewis. She also leaves behind many friends that have become family. James and Tanya Sanders, Katherine Johnson, Arielle Stevens and Jacob Garrett, Christina Walker-Farmer and family, and Heather Richards and family. She has many extended unofficial children and grandchildren. Some of them were Clorissa Follett, and Myrria Camben.

Katie was born in Woods County Wisconsin and graduated from Nekoosa High School. She had a bachelor’s in accounting and worked many years with B.P. Short Paving Company. She was a believer in education and pushing yourself to be the best you can. She enjoyed spending time with her family and animals. She was always providing for animals and a firm believer in spay and neuter. She was willing to open her home for those in need regardless if they were 2 legged or 4 legged. She will always be remembered for her spunk and attitude but more so for her love. Lawrence never met a stranger but Katie never knew a stray.
