Charlotte Wallace Gallion, 90, of Victoria, Virginia joined her family in Heaven on June 15, 2025. She was the wife of the late, Howard R. Gallion; daughter of the late Jonathan Morgan Wallace and Ada Elizabeth Wallace; and sister of the late Mary Williams, Gerald Wallace, Hugh Wallace, Claude Wallace, Carolyn Crenshaw, Laverna Bobbitt, Phyllis Forbes, Boyce Wallace and Billy Wallace. She is survived by her children, Donna Gallion (Daphne), Michael Gallion (Cathy) and Janice Baker (Wayne); granddaughters, Brandi Umstead and Shawn Kerr (Cory); bonus grandchildren, Kelly, Chris, Aaron and Amarisa; great-grandchildren, Mitch, McKenzie, Gavin, River and Meadow Rose; bonus great-grandchildren, Oliver and Autumn; a brother, Jack Wallace; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Charlotte grew up in Kenbridge and married Howard on October 17, 1959. She worked at various places, but she found her calling in caring for others. For many years parents entrusted their children to her care. She was known by most as “Mama Charlotte”. She will always be remembered for opening her home to anyone who needed a place to stay, for her cooking, and for the love she had for her family. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Victoria United Methodist Church from 1PM until start of services at 2PM. Interment to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
