Clifton Henry Archer

Clifton Henry Archer, 83, of Charlotte Courthouse, VA went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025. He was the son of the late Mallory Hobbs Archer and Margaret Rebecca Braswell Archer; husband of the late Mary Lane Archer; and, brother of the late James, David, Calvin, and Roger Archer. He is survived by his son Clifton H. “Clifford” Archer, Jr.; his five sisters, Lucille Bowen, Martha Osborne, Joyce Dooley, Carolyn Carter, and Betty Gibson; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Jones and Elsie Martin; extended family and friends. He was a retired dairy farmer and he enjoyed cutting grass and watching wrestling and westerns on television. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting. A celebration of his life will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at his sister’s home, Carolyn Carter, 13223 Old White Oak Road; Dewitt, VA 23840.
