Deborah Wray Smith

Deborah Wray “Debbie” Smith, 73, of Victoria, Virginia joined her family in Heaven on September 16, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Hinton Odell Wray and Rose Caudle Wray.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Russell “Peanut” Smith, her children, Jennifer Ginn (Tom) of Clarksville, Va., Matthew Kidd of Marshallberg, NC and Ryan Smith of Victoria, VA; 4 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sherry Major (Bobby) Wendy Kolb (Brian) and her brother, Terry Wray.

Debbie grew up in Victoria and attended Central High School. She was a member of Thrift’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed diamond art, Facebook and her Facebook friends.
