Donald Colin Companion

Donald Colin Companion, 70, of Farmville, VA went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2026. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Companion and brother of the late Ricky companion, Sr. He is survived by his son, Bradley Companion (Laurel) of Dillwyn; his daughters, April Shelton (Stacey) of Arvonia and Amanda Booker (Vernell) of Dillwyn; his grandchildren, Chelsea Companion, Bradlee Companion, Derik Companion, Erik Companion, Brandon Companion, Taylor Shelton and Breanna Companion; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Debby Baker (Larry) of Farmville; brother, Joey Companion (Sue) of Pamplin; extended family and friends. Donald grew up in Farmville, VA. He raised his children in Buckingham and later moved to Richmond to become a crane operator. He co-owned Veteran’s American Construction company until retiring in 2014. He returned to Cumberland where he enjoyed collecting, playing his guitars and singing; especially at the local nursing homes. He was a member of the Farmville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends June 30, 2026 at the MT.
