Gayla Grubb Queen

Gayla Grubb Queen, 76, born January 27, 1950, peacefully passed away January 27, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Cramer Grubb and Maggie Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband George Queen, son Richard Inge Jr. (Dickie), and sister Judy Armstrong. Gay is survived by her daughters, Rachael Inge Ashworth (Carl) of Victoria, Maggie Inge of Lynchburg, and Beverly Inge Jennings (Thomas) of Victoria. She was “Nena” to nine grandchildren Raven Ferguson, Dalton Ashworth, Logan Ashworth, Robert Robinette, Michael Robinette, Erika Southworth (Brandon), Seth Robinette (Hannah), Emilee Robinette, and Devin Inge. She also had three great grandchildren Asher Conroy, Remi Robinette, and Brantley Inge. After she retired, she loved being on the go to shop and eat out. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia, and napping with her dog, Gizzie.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, Virginia.
