Ida Jean Barron Leonard

Ida Jane Barron Leonard, 64 of Crewe, Virginia, joined her family in Heaven on March the 8th, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Samuel Barron, and Helen Powell Thacker; grandmother of the late Kaidence Harris, and aunt of the late, Glenward Buchanan. She is survived by her husband, David Terry Leonard; her sons, Floyd S. “Skeeter” Harris (Robin) and Lyn Harris (Taylor); her daughter, Mary Beth Harris; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mary Rose Overton, Tommy Barron, Charles Barron, Kenny Barron, Anne LaFoon and Eugene Buchanan; stepsister, Vera Tackett; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ida grew up in Victoria, Virginia. She enjoyed cooking and family gatherings. She will always be remembered for a kind heart and the love she had for our family. Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge.
