James Alexander Floyd, III

James Alexander “Jimmy” Floyd, III, 39, of Keysville, Va joined his family and friends in Heaven on June 4, 2025. He was the son of the late Cherie J. Bashlor, He is survived by his wife Melissa Weaver Floyd of Keysville; his daughter Chloe Floyd of Columbus, GA; his father, James A. Floyd, Jr. (Leta) of Fishersville, VA; step-children, Bradley Wheatcraft, Kayla Weaver and Alexis Weaver; step-grandchildren, Kaylee Weaver and Delilah Wheatcraft; half-sisters, Jennifer Fifer, Crystal Bennett, Joy Perez, Suzan Keith and Angela Court; step-brother, Steve Cash and many friends. Jimmy worked for Jones and Son Home Improvements. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing and talking. He will always be remembered for his goofiness, loud vehicles, his willingness to help others, but most of all for the love he had for his family and friends. A private service will be held at a later date.
