Janie Montgomery Ashworth

Janie M. Ashworth, 92, of Victoria, VA passed away February 7, 2026. She was the last surviving child of the five daughters born to the late Charles and Annie White Montgomery and was the wife of the late Everette Franklin Ashworth. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Jones (Hardy) and Barbara Newcomb (Randall); three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria. Staples Funeral Home, Victoria, in charge of arrangements.
