Jean Cary Overton

Jean Cary Overton, 89, of Victoria, VA joined her family in Heaven on February 12, 2026. She was the wife of the late Louie Allen Overton; daughter of the late, Gordon and Fanny Cary and sister of the late, Cora Mae Roberts and Louise Cordle. She is survived by two daughters, Teressa Overton (Charlie) and Sharon Harding all of Victoria; four grandchildren, Regina Daniel, Natasha Gill (Chris), Brandon Harding (Kim), and Derek Daniel; five great-grandchildren, Malik, Greleigh, Angel, Maddox, and Andrew; two great-great grandchildren, Nova Glasgow and William Carter; nieces, nephews and extended family. Jean grew up in Burkeville, VA. She retired from Lunenburg County Public School system as a food service worker. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, traveling and gardening. She was a member of the Victoria Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She will always be remembered for her yeast rolls and for the love she had for her family. Graveside funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria. The family will receive friends at all times 2003 6th Street Victoria, VA. The family wishes to thank her devoted caregivers, Annie, Arlene, Erica, Kendra, Kisha, Liz, Mary and the staff at Amedisys Hospice. Donations to the Lunenburg Health Services Center (P.O.
