Lois Jean Link

Lois Jean Link, 84, of Mechanicsville, Va and formerly of Green Bay, Virginia joined her family in Heaven on August 23, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie F. Link; her parents, Avery A. Holt and Thelma Adams Holt and a brother, Larry Holt.

She is survived by her son Johnnie C Link (Mary), daughter Sherry Hendrix (Werlie); brother, Iven Holt and sister, Alice Johnston. She was blessed with five grandchildren: Everal Carter, Leah Westcott, Christopher Adam Link, Noah Hendrix and Megan Mathis. She was overjoyed to have 11 great-grandchildren: Kylee, Averie, Wyatt, David, Damon, Johnnie, Maise, Mason, Dallas, Bucklin and Rowen.

Lois enjoyed reading and gardening but most of all caring for others. For many years she devoted her loving energy to others so that they could remain in the comfort of their homes. Spending time with family was her most cherished past time.

Lois was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Mechanicsville and a former member of Tussekiah Baptist Church, 3514 Crymes Road, Meherrin, VA where graveside funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, August 31, 2026.
