Margaret Ann Long Hipkins

Margaret Ann Long Hipkins, 80, of Crewe, VA passed peacefully at her home with her family by her side. She was one of the many children born to the late John Wesley Long and Geneiva Bates Long. She is survived by her daughter, Margie Hipkins Brown (Steve L. Brown, Dec’d) of Sandston; a son, Melvin Lee Hipkins of Crewe; two grandchildren, Joshua Hipkins (April Bartoe Hipkins) of Green Bay, VA, and Jamie Connor Brown of Sandston; three great- grandchildren, Lillyann, Samuel, and Lauren Hipkins; several nieces and nephews to include a special niece, Debbie Wilmouth (Roy) and many friends. Margaret retired from Phillip Morris as a machine operator. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting dolls, and being outside tending to her flowers. She will always be remembered for being a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Hobby Lobby has lost their best customer. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 5 to 7PM at the Clarke Funeral Home, 110 E.
