Marvin Wayne Hipkins

Marvin W. "Punkin" Hipkins, 79, of Henderson, NC, and Bracey, VA joined his family in Heaven on June 27, 2026. He was the son of the late Leonard and Ethel Hipkins, brother of the late Melvin Hipkins and Peggy Hipkins and Grandfather of the late Jason Scott Panzino.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Hipkins (Jay Garlow) of Henderson, NC and Virginia Panzino (Mike Daniel) of Callands, Virginia; three grandchildren, John Panzino, Destiny Daniel and Joe Daniel; three great-grandsons, Jason, Daniel and Dakota and a brother, Lucky Hipkins of Danville. Marvin grew up in Halifax, Virginia. He was a dependable Skidder Operator for various logging companies for over thirty years.

He enjoyed fishing, playing lottery and riding his golf cart around Rivers Ridge in Bracey, Virginia. He will always be remembered as a true friend who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 6:30 to 8PM at the Clarke Funeral Home, 110 E. Fifth Avenue, Kenbridge, Va. 23944.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:30PM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the Crewe Cemetery, The Falls Road, Crewe, Virginia. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Elizabeth Hipkins, 45 Spring Valley Road, Henderson, NC 27537 to help with funeral expenses. Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, is assisting the Hipkins family.
