Nora Mae Green Allen, 81, of Victoria, Va. left this world on March 13, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Allen; her son, Michael R. “Mike” Allen; her parents, George Emmett Green and Ruby Buchanan Green; her brother, George Thomas Green and a sister, Bobby Sue Kinney.She is survived by her grandson, Thomas Faith and his daughters, Nevaeh and Avery all of Hampton. Her sister Hope Ho-Gland (Frank) of Missouri; and a beloved friend, Jeanne Bolash of Victoria. Nora grew up in Jackson County, North Carolina. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and reading. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and giving heart. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the Staples Funeral Home in Victoria. Graveside funeral services will be held 2PM Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria.
