Peggy Kallam Green

Peggy Kallam Green, 67, of Victoria, Va. joined her family in Heaven on December 13, 2025. She was born September 12, 1958, a daughter of the late Thomas Jackson Kallam and Mildred Byrd Kallam; sister of the late Tommie Lou Pennell and Ronnie Kallam and aunt of the late, Thomas William “Will” Hatcher and Trina Chaffin. She is survived by her son, Mathew Green of Danville; her sisters, Jean Harding of Victoria, Nancy Lowrance (Leroy) of Chase City, Sandra Herndon (Allen), Debra Hatcher (John), all of Victoria; Barbara Slaughter (Harold) of Kenbridge; brothers, Buck Kallam (Anita), of South Hill, and Jimmy Kallam (Faye) of Brodnax. Peggy graduated from Central High School in 1979. She worked many years at the local factories. She was a hard worker who didn’t mind giving, even when she didn’t have much to give. She enjoyed dancing, cutting grass and being with family. The NY Yankee’s have lost their biggest fan. The family will receive friends at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 10am until start of services at 11am. Burial to follow at the Lakeview Cemetery, Victoria.
