Raymond Richard Slaughter, Jr.

Raymond Richard Slaughter, Jr., 74, of Victoria, Va. went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2025. He was the son of the late Raymond Richard Slaughter and Helen Inez Smith Slaughter and brother of the late Michael David Slaughter. Richard grew up in Kenbridge, Va and graduated from Central High School class of 1969. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Marine Corp. For many years he worked in sales and in his later years he served in ministry. He enjoyed selling, buying and trading. He is survived by his brother Harold W. Slaughter (Barbara); his nieces; grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the staff at Heritage Hall in Blackstone and to the staff of Amedysis Hospice for all of the care and support they provided for Richard.
