Rebecca “Becky” Ann Clary Daniel, 73, born April 13, 1953, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her father, L.J. “Junie” Clary, and her mother, Lillian Capps Clary. Becky is survived by her loving husband, Ray Daniel; her daughters, Dana Smith (Aaron) and Sherri Howerton (Joe); her three beloved grandchildren, Cassidy Smith, Ryan Howerton, and Emma Howerton; her three siblings, Ailease Short (Maddux), Micky Clary (Libby), and Ricky Clary (Alicia); and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
Becky and Ray shared 55 years of marriage, building a life together filled with family, love, and memories that will be treasured for generations.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (Ama) who always put others before herself. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in supporting her children and grandchildren in everything they did. She especially loved attending their sporting events and cheering them on. Whether celebrating their accomplishments or simply being there when they needed her, Becky was always one of their biggest supporters.
She also loved spending time on the farm, where she enjoyed making memories with her family and doing the things that brought her happiness.
After many years of working at Abell Lumber, Becky moved on to Community Memorial Hospital. Her path eventually led her to the Solari Radiation Center. No matter where life took her, she was known for her caring heart, generosity, and willingness to put the needs of others before her own.
Above all, Becky will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her dedication to those she cared about, and the many ways she made others feel loved and supported. Affectionately known as “Buckbee” to her nieces and nephews, a name she proudly made sure everyone knew, she held a special place in the hearts of those who loved her. The memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, October 18, 2026 at 3pm at New Hope Christian Church in Alberta. The family will receive friends in the church immediately following the service.
Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
