Ruth Hilda Slaughter Hendrick, 97, passed peacefully at her home on Nov.19, 2020 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 6, 1923 to Clyde Oakley Slaughter and Herbert Mavins Slaughter in Kenbridge Va. She is survived by her children Ruth Renee Hendrick, Joel Mavins Hendrick, Shaun Lawson Hendrick, and her grandchildren Nicolle C. Ackley, Aurelie M. Hardell, Jenna M. Hendrick, and Jason D. Hendrick. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Lawson Hendrick, her sister Louise Ragsdale, and brothers Roy Slaughter, Richard Slaughter, Jerry Slaughter, and James Slaughter.
