Samuel Terry Shaw

Samuel T. “Sam” Shaw, 86, of Kenbridge, VA went to be with the Lord and his family in Heaven on September 23, 2026. He was the son of the late Herbert Edgar Shaw and Naomi Whitaker Shaw and brother of the late William “Willie” Shaw and James “Jim” Shaw. He is survived by his wife Rosa Lee Myrick Shaw; step-daughters, Ella (Jody), Eunice (Scott) and Christy (Steve); seven step-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great grandchild; his sisters, Iris Kenny, Claudia Hill (Ernie) and Betty Bates (Bill).

Sam grew up in Amelia, Virginia and graduated from Amelia High School. He was a retired farmer, he took great pride in working the land. He enjoyed gardening, tending his farm, reading his King James Bible and keeping a beautifully maintained yard.

The family will receive friends 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M.  Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the Clarke Funeral Home, Kenbridge, where services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at the Dundas Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor PJ Parker will be officiating the services.
