Sandra Lee Morris Vanderpool

Sandra Lee Morris Vanderpool, 54, of Petersburg, VA and formerly of Kenbridge, Va. Died March 7, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Duard Lee Morris and Hilda Crenshaw Blankenship; sister of the late, Dwight Morris and Timmy Morris; and aunt of the late Nick Morris.

She is survived by her sons, Dwight Vanderpool and Scott Tenant; ex-husband, JR Vanderpool; numerous grandchildren and step children; her brother, Matt Morris; nieces, Heather Bowman (Justin) and Holly Morris.

Sandra graduated from Central High School and got her associates degree from DeVry University. She worked several years doing medical records for Piedmont Geriatric Hospital in Burkeville. She enjoyed writing poems, motorcycles, drawing and painting but most of all hanging out with family.

Memorial services will be 11am Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge.
