Teresa Cox Ryder

Teresa Cox "Terry" Ryder, 68, of Victoria, VA passed away December 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Marion Ryder, her parents, Elwood Crawford “Shorty” Cox, Sr. and Beulah Cox; and a brother, Elwood Crawford Cox, Jr. She is survived by her son, Stephen Ryder (Amanda); her daughter, Summer Renee Ryder; 7 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Cox; Terry  graduated from Prince Edward Academy and received an associates degree from SVCC. She worked for numerous years at Kenbridge Sportswear and managed Cmart in Victoria for many years. She enjoyed watching Oscar and Stephen play ball and going on trips with Summer. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Per Terry’s request there will be no services. Please consider donations to help with cost to:  Staples Funeral Home, P.O.
