Terry Lee Bowen

Terry Lee Bowen, 67, of Kenbridge, Va. joined his family in Heaven on May 31, 2026. He was the son of the late Dennis Willard Bowen and Maggie Pearl Bowen and was brother of the late, Willard Bowen and Ricky Bowen.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Barbara Gayle Bowen; his sons, Terry Lee “TJ” “Tayter” Bowen, Jr. (Faith) of South Hill and Dennis Wade Bowen (Sydney) of Kenbridge; grandchildren, Trista Brown (Tristan), Aaron Bowen, Chase Bowen and Lindsey Bowen; his sisters, Carolyn Bishop and Denise Gilbert; a brother, David Bowen (Audrey); sisters-in-law, Lucille Bowen, Dale Bowen and Diane Harding (Chuck); brother-in-law, David Finch (Teresa); nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Terry grew up in Lunenburg County. He farmed and planted pines when he was younger but has logged most of his life.

He was a former member of Bagley’s Mill Hunt Club and a current member of Red Bank Hunt Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising deer dogs. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring father, grandfather and husband.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, June 4, 2026 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Victoria. (Intersection of 1st Street and Marshall Avenue)

Terry will be available for viewing on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge from 9am until 7pm.
