Wanda Dale Campbell

Wanda Dale Campbell, 81, born April 29, 1944 in Chase City, Virginia, passed peacefully at home on April 6, 2026 with her family by her side.

Wanda met the love of her life, Ronnie in College Park, Georgia. Ronnie and Wanda were married for 47 years. They had 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Ronnie and Wanda moved frequently during Ronnie's lengthy career and have many lifelong friends throughout the country. Wanda was an awesome cook and owned a few restaurants in the different states they lived in. This included the original Godfather’s Pizza in College Park, Georgia and Wanda’s Kitchen in Hugo Colorado.

Wanda was a devoted Christian and member of Sharon Baptist Church in Blackstone, Va and later attended Mount Zion Church in Chase City, Va. Wanda’s kindness and deep love of family was always present in everything she did. This was especially true during the holidays when everyone gathered at her house.

Wanda loved to garden, and spend time outside tending to her flower beds. She had over a thousand hummingbirds that returned yearly to her many feeders each summer. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching football.

Her strong Christian beliefs and faith ensure that she will walk in heaven with God and her family members waiting for her. Wanda spent her last 4 years living in Florida with her daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and youngest great-granddaughter.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday April 18, 2026 at Sharon Baptist Church 4111 Darvills Rd Blackstone Va 23824 from 3pm until start of services at 4pm. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. The minster is Freddie Flowers
