William Gary Bordeaux

William Gary Bordeaux, 81, of Victoria, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2025. He was the son of the late Marcus and Elma Butler and the brother of the late Ronald Bordeaux. He is survived by his wife, Georgeann M. Bordeaux; his sons, Channing Bordeaux (Danielle) of Amelia, VA, and Brandon Bordeaux (Allison) of Raleigh, NC; and his daughter, Jodi Bordeaux of Pacific City, OR. Gary had six grandchildren, Addison, Ruby, Marcus, Ash, Tate and Evan. Gary grew up in Wilmington, NC. He received his bachelor’s degree in Forestry from Humboldt State University in California. Gary worked for over thirty years as a forester for Weyerhaeuser in Washington and Oregon. He was a member of Thrift’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling, camping, bird watching, elk hunting, gardening, cutting firewood and - most of all - spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held 11am Saturday, May 17 at the Victoria Christian Church. Staples Funeral Home, Victoria, in charge of arrangements.
